Presented is a gorgeous pearl, ruby and 14 karat white gold necklace. This is a
modern piece, likely of American make. The necklace is set with 19 rubies,
alternating with pearls in various dark peacock shades of iridescent purple,
blue, green, and bronze. The rubies are oval cut stones of about 35-40 points in
size, bezel set in white gold links. These are real mined-from-the-ground
stones, in a lovely shade of red. There are 19 rubies, so the total ruby weight
is between 6.65 and 7.60 carats. The pearls are cultured freshwater pearls,
probably dyed. This is a stylish necklace with a lot of visual appeal.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. The clasp closes securely.
There are no breaks, and no repairs.
The necklace is stamped 14k on the clasp, as well as a maker\'s mark we
unfortunately do not recognize.
The necklace is about 18 5/8 inches long.
