The 4LIV18HP230V1AH / 4LIV18HP230V1AO single-zone system is one of Gree’s new 3rd generation of Livo mini splits designed to provide a convenient, efficient method to cool and heat a room.

The Gree Livo Gen4 system provides high efficiency and quiet comfort. It is both quieter and simultaneously delivers more air than the previous Livo and Lio+ generations. The compressor features Gree\'s G10 Inverter and variable compressor technology, which enables the unit to reach the desired temperature faster and more consistently. Maintenance is easy thanks to the self-diagnostics tool.

The Livo Gen4 features multiple fan speeds for your comfort. The indoor unit\'s sleep mode ensures that temperature fluctuations don\'t disturb your sleep. It also features a hidden backlight display on the unit which will inform you of the temperature and different modes running. A handheld remote control is included with this unit and features a programmable timer and I Feel mode, which senses temperature around the remote to adjust airflow and indoor temperature.

The 4LIV18HP230V1AH / 4LIV18HP230V1AO comes with Gree’s standard 5 year parts and 5 year compressor warranty when registered and installed in a residential application. The warranty is reduced to 1 year parts and 5 year compressor when installed in a commercial application. Controls are warrantied for 90 days from the purchase date.

If installed by a Select Dealer, the residential warranty may be extended to 10 years on parts and 10 years on the compressor when registered within 60 days of installation.

Durability and Reliability

The Livo Gen4 condenser has a basepan heater to keep the unit ice free, even down to -4°F. This prevents harmful ice buildup that can damage a coil. It also has an acrylic-resin anti-corrosion coating to prevent damage over time.

If the system encounters abnormalities while operating, the display on the indoor unit will show an error code for easy diagnosis.

Smart Features

The Livo Gen4 system includes intelligent pre-heating and defrosting to prevent cold air from blowing inside while the unit is in heating mode. The system includes power failure recovery to resume function automatically after a power outage. A wireless adapter (sold separately) can be added to the indoor unit to provide control over the system from anywhere via the Gree app for mobile phones.
