HOT ! Baieido [Kyara Incense] Premium Incense Holder UME-MON (#7567)

A collaboration series by KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN and Baieido.

Developed jointly by Baieido, with its 360-year history of preserving traditional Japanese fragrance culture, and KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN, led by industrial designer Kiyoyuki Okuyama—known as the first non-Italian to design a Ferrari.

The incense is crafted with an abundance of rare, highest-grade kyara, a precious agarwood that has long been said to be “worth its weight in gold,” and today is valued at several times more than gold itself.

The incense holder is made of Nanbu ironware from Iwate Prefecture. Designed with a plum crest motif in a three-dimensional form, it expresses a modern take on traditional Japanese aesthetics. The elegant and weighty design combines the texture of cast iron with gold leaf.

The set is presented in a luxurious vermilion-lacquered box bearing the golden logos of KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN and Baieido, with a serial number marked on the inside of the lid.
