More and more rare to find all original, this set of 7 (daily) razors in early 1800s French box includes 4 that I\'m sure are original, perhaps 5, and 2 replacements, yet is still a superb and well-matched set completing the box. I think the handles are horn on 6 of the razors. The chest or case is to highest French standards, per the pride taken in the cabinet makers\' standards. A working lock but we don\'t have a key to it at listing time. Full measurements noted on the photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type, as you can see, the box is superb, lacking only a key. It does stay closed, and one need just tilt lid slightly to one side to disengage the clamp from lock, lacking the key. As noted, 4-5 original razors. I\'m unsure if the bone handle one is original, but 4 of the horn handled ones certainly are. Two razors with horn handles are definitely replacements. As is quite normal, the old steel razors do have some darkening and a little corrosion which we are not going to try to polish, leaving that decision to the next owner. Also as noted, these razor necessaire are becoming very hard to source. Some customers have asked me to notify them if we find one, and in our mail port-over I\'m missing years of old emails and can\'t find it just now.
